Students will learn the science of the equine hoof and lower limb, as well as the newest and safest techniques for shoeing horses using gas forges. Graduates are also prepared to establish their own farrier business.

We ask that donated horses meet the following qualifications;
- Between the ages of 2 and 18 years old.
- Reach a mature height of at least 15 hands high.
- Be serviceably sound for its intended purpose.
