暖通空调方案说明

As one of the in-dem和 jobs nationally 和 specifically in Ohio with job growth projected at 15%, students will receive training in heating, 通风, air conditioning 和 refrigeration, working towards industry-recognized certifications 和 troubleshooting techniques to be job-ready upon graduation. Students will gain on-the-job training from industry partners throughout the curriculum as well as in lab scenario training on installation 和 maintenance.

学生学习成果 (SLOs) are statements of what a student will be able to do when they have completed a program. They represent the knowledge 和 skills a program has determined are most important for students to gain from that program 和 include both the Success Skills (institutional outcomes) 和 Program Outcomes. SLOs are specific 和 measurable so the program can accurately assess the degree to which students have achieved each outcome, 和 they align with college 和 institution mission 和 values. Data on the achievement of SLOs is used to make improvements in the program 和 increase student success. 

Hocking College Institutional Learning Outcomes

1) Demonstrate sound critical thinking, information literacy 和 technological competency in the production of academic writing 和 presentations

2) 应用 the methods of mathematical, statistical or analytical reasoning to critically evaluate data, solve problems 和 effectively communicate findings.

3) Demonstrate an awareness of the social, political 和 economic forces which shape individuals, institutions 和 communities in the modern world.

5)Demonstrate a foundation of knowledge in the natural sciences based on theory 和 laboratory skills.

In January 2020, Hocking College became one of 35 other secondary schools to be awarded a 选择俄亥俄第一基金.

The grant — worth $65,600 — from the Ohio Department of Higher Education will fund scholarships for students joining the college’s Website 和 应用程序 Development  Cybersecurity 和 Networking 项目.

The grant allows for one scholarship each worth more than $2,700 for both 项目 for the next five years.

The scholarships are available to Ohio residents applying or transferring to Hocking College or changing their major to one of the two Computer Sciences 项目.
